Creating your own music has never been easier

Just Addictive Music’s music production workshops combine the creativity of young people with cutting edge digital music production equipment and the knowledge of skilled music professionals, to give participants the skills and confidence to explore and realise their musical ambitions.

Our fully portable computer based recording facility has been designed to provide groups with the opportunity to create and record music and audio projects of any kind, anywhere they choose.

Groups of any age can take part in sessions from three hours to full days.

Our basic tuition covers:

  1. Composition of songs
  2. Musical arrangement
  3. Introduction to music software

Courses are design to suit groups needs, abilities and provide a fun and entertaining introduction to music technology. Beginner’s courses will assume no previous knowledge of music technology and production and will introduce groups to the basics of creating and recording their own music. Our standard course consists of three, 3 hour sessions. Three hour taster sessions are also available and course length and content can be tailored to suit all musical styles, issue based work or most other requirements.

People’s Radio is a workshop project that enables young people to create their own music, interviews, documentaries, songs, dramas etc. and bring them together to produce radio style programmes broadcast on the internet.

Rapping or Mcing is another of the elements of hip hop; it is a form of rhyming lyrics spoken rhythmically over musical instruments, with a musical backdrop of sampling, scratching and mixing by DJ's.

  4. Pro Tools
  5. Acid
