Project Title: The World on Your Street - A Brief Sketch

Description:The World on Your Street was a project designed to give young people the unique opportunity to discover and recreate the music and art from the cities above. During the five days leading up to the final performance and exhibition the young people took part in the following activities:
- T-shirt making
- Visual arts
- Graffiti
- Drama
- Music Production
- CD DJ skills
- Rap/MC’ing
- Dance
- Drumming and Percussion
- Creative writing
The workshop sessions were lead by seven of Just Addictive Music’s facilitators and directed and coordinated by Paul Pryce and James Mitchell the lead artist.
Outcomes:The outcomes of the project were:
- Art pieces to be displayed im Rawmarsh CLC
- Original music using midi technology combined with traditional rhythms
- Traditional and contemporary dance routines
- A performance to showcase the week’s activities and achievement
